This Material is similar in hardness and texture to turquoise.
Some of if it has a serpentine or marble look to it. This particular find of magnesite has had some interaction with an iron ore giving it very nice coloring with web like patterns. These Cabochons are cut overseas and brought back for our customers to enjoy and set into their jewelry design creations.
