Natural Turquoise Cabs
This mine is located in the Mineral Park Mining District. Turquoise Mountain offers distinctive stones with a variety of unique blue and green colors. Although Turquoise Mountain is located near the Kingman deposits, it is considered a classic mine in its own right because its turquoise is so much different in appearance. Material from Turquoise Mountain has also been sold as “Old Man” or “Old Man Mine Turquoise.”
We have managed to locate and acquire several thousand carats of natural cabs from this location. This quality of stone is getting harder to find, as the natural materials are being depleted. The variety of colors in these stones is really incredible: from blue with almost no matrix to blue green to a vivid green with incredible matrix patterns. These are individually hand cut by stone cutters in Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. This outstanding natural supply won’t last long.
